My work in community and culture spans journalism, advocacy, environmental health, and event programming. I write about the systems that shape belonging, the creative ecosystems that give cities their pulse. Whether I’m reviewing an album, crafting a mitigation narrative, or producing events that bring hundreds of people together, the throughline is the same:
connection, clarity, and care.
ARTS & Music
I spent years inside San Antonios art and music ecosystem writing album reviews, booking shows, supporting local artists, and documenting the scenes that shape identity and belonging. This work was narrative anthropology and taught me how to write with texture, rhythm, and resonance.

A local vintage shop teams up with several businesses in the Pearl complex to throw their second annual Montage Spring Mixer, benefiting autism research at the UT Health Science.
Human Narrative Advocacy
This part of my work focuses on narratives that require empathy, context, and emotional precision: mitigation writing, community health, and stories that reveal the full complexity of a person or place. This is narrative as advocacy, clarity, and care.

Event Programming
My event work spans grassroots music shows, multi‑venue productions, and enterprise‑scale corporate events. Across all of it, the throughline is the same: creating spaces where people connect, feel something, and walk away changed.
Music Shows & Venue Programming
From booking local bands to helping open Paper Tiger, I produced events that became cultural anchors — blending logistics, creativity, and community building.
Sales Kickoffs (SKOs)
For large‑scale corporate SKOs, I owned the entire main‑stage run of show, including:

This is high‑stakes event orchestration — precision, timing, and technical fluency.
Solution Forums
Similar to SKOs, I managed run‑of‑show logistics, speaker flow, AV, and presentation sequencing for multi‑session, multi‑stakeholder forums.
Client Appreciation Events
I scouted venues, organized dinners and activities, coordinated giveaways, and built experiences that strengthened relationships and made clients feel valued.
Tradeshows
I coordinated booth logistics, managed setup, and staffed the booth — ensuring brand presence, attendee engagement, and operational smoothness.
