Work That Connects the Dots

I had a gift for writing and telling stories early on in life. As a quiet, timid kiddo, expressing myself on the page gave me a voice. My papers were always the ones teachers wanted to read aloud to the class, and I came to understand the power a well-crafted message can have.

At the same time, I grew up watching my dad build things with his hands. Real things. Things that held weight, weather, and people’s lives. He was a building superintendent for a major U.S. construction company and always had a home project or contract job working on the side. The smell of sawdust and problem‑solving set against whatever musical flavor my mom was playing in the background (different every day) featured heavily throughout my childhood.

After college, I found myself working for a CE firm that educated designers and engineers about sustainable materials, green building methods, and the psychology of built spaces. That work sharpened my love of design and ignited a passion and believe that the way we build shapes the way we live.

Like my dad, I always had a side project, but mine revolved around music, art, and culture in San Antonio’s creative scene. That led to collaborating on creative projects like organizing music shows and modeling, some of which raised funding for causes that mattered to me. I served on the board of Gardopia Gardens for three years, helping grow community health through garden‑based learning. I wrote mitigation narratives that helped courts see the full humanity of people whose stories were flattened by circumstance.

In recent years, I’ve lead content strategy and execution across technology topics including AI and the intersection of technology and sustainability. I build narratives that make technical concepts digestible and their business impacts tangible. Architectural metaphors lend themselves naturally here. I do that work with a forward-thinking, AI‑enabled approach.

My work across these varied fields of interest all collide for me around the same idea: stories build things, too. They build alignment, trust, urgency, and belief. They help people grasp meaningful possibilities and empower them to act.

If you’re building something bold and need a message that lands meaningfully, I’d love to help tell that story.
